Easy way to get PhD in India in 2020 is to visit our website www.phdconsultants.in or just apply for PhD admission form and do it directly on your own. Read full PhD process on how to do PhD in India and how to apply for PhD in India. Here is my detailed analysis about how to get PhD admission in India.
How to do PhD in India as soon as the PhD notification comes is a big confusion for many aspirants. In order to do PhD, fill in an online application from the university website and if the admission department satisfies with the grades mentioned in the application form, you will be called for PhD entrance test. After passing the entrance test, you should undergo PhD interview (DC) Committee and later on you will get admission once cracking all these stages. Doing PhD in India under Government University is a long-term process. So the easy way to get PhD in India is to join in a State Private University which is recognized by UGC Indian laws. State Private University PhD’s are valid and you can finish in 3 years of time whether it is part time PhD or full time. So join in a State Private University.
There are many Universities in India which have some consultants who charge money for easy PhD. You do not need to go to those universities but rather visit 2 or 3 times during the full duration of the PhD program. You will get awarded if you offer the consultant 250000 rupees. This is my direct experience with one consultant asking me. But I never joined in such universities. You will never have value with such a degree.
Usually, Government universities’ faculties might have themselves involved in many researches and Govt. programs so that they may not have time to involve and scrutinize each stage of your study process which will delay your degree. Usually, it takes 7 to 10 years to complete PhD.
For both Full-Time and Part-Time Ph.D. programmes, the consent of supervisor is mandatory at the time of admission in Govt. Universities. List of the recognized Supervisor with their official address will be given in university website. Candidates who wish to apply for Ph.D. should first choose a supervisor in the field of interest, get consent from supervisor (In the online application process, supervisor has the discretion to approve a candidate, and only after approval, the candidate will be able to complete the online application process. The application shall be accepted only if it is duly signed by the chosen supervisor. If such supervisor is not available, you may not be able to submit your application. Even after getting admission, you need to do many other works to get into the good books of the supervisor. Sometimes it may end up with clashes in personal or political senses. But if we are chosen to serve you for your PhD admission, we will select the supervisor who are familiar to us and university which suits your interest in the subject.
* The easiest way to get PhD. in India is to approach a PhD consultant. They will do the entire job in getting your admission and if possible they will look at some of the formalities like attendance maintenance, research work assistance etc.
*The other easy way is to get a good supervisor/guide who can support you throughout your PhD. course.
In order to pursue PhD, you need to apply for PhD in India with the university either for the even semester in January or for an odd semester in the month of July. Both semesters will hold admission into Ph.D.’s in almost all the universities in India. The best way is to apply for PhD is during even semester in India. Usually, the academic year starts in odd semester throughout India. But still, you need to take admission in even semester for doing your PhD. fast. The reason is that if you take admission in the odd semester, most of the times you will have to wait to complete your coursework in even semester along with newly joined PhD candidates.
The application fee is Rs.1000 rupees in most of the PhD universities in India. This application fee is nonrefundable in case you do not get selected. So it is at your risk you pay. But it is easy to get admission if you have some recommendations.
Check for PhD advertisements in newspapers for PhD admission notification around your city or state. Find out what is the deadline to apply for PhD in India. I mean in your state and with that university. Each university has its own dead line for PhD application process. Once you miss this last date to apply for PhD, you will have to wait for one more year. So understand clearly, what should be the last date of applying PhD in Indian university that you are applying.
Once you have done with your entrance exam, usually you will have PhD interview. In private universities, they will conduct PhD interview as soon as you finish entrance exam but whereas if you appear for a government exam you have to wait for a merit list and at a later stage an interview for PhD admission.
But take everything as a challenge. No need of getting discouraged just because you did not get admission in one university. There are many others there who can offer you if you try little hard than what you usually try for. Do not worry about.
Now a day’s many students are worried about which universities to join for PhD. Studies are meant to research . Nobody takes your university into consideration in the upcoming 10 years of time. In the coming days your research paper publications will matter a lot. The more papers you write, the better your exposure will be.
Entrance exam into PhD is just formality to do. There is no such condition if you score well in your entrance examination will be eligible to get admission into PhD. In Government Universities, the entrance exam is quite strict to look outside. There are many other factors deciding your admission.
Course work
There are many hurdles till you will finish your PhD course work after admission. If you do not clear Pre-Ph.D. course work, you are not allowed to move forward. So to get admission is one thing and to complete course work is yet another challenging thing in India.
Do it with all the resources and knowledge. This is the only way to survive your PhD course.
Apply with all the efforts in any university. No worries about the type of university. Some students that I knew were not interested with a full-time PhD. They wait long years and waste time to do PhD in part-time. This is not a good idea. Just whichever opportunity falls in front of you, take it and move. It is OK whether it is full or part time PhD. At the end, when you finish it, who cares about how you did PhD. It is important whether you have completed or not.
So now after reading this, you start searching for Universities offering PhD to your subject. Instead, contact us by mail [email protected] or +918304870311/611/8072813647; we will guide you with all the availability and admission.

The number of billionaires in India is growing — from 109 in 2014 to 334 this year. India’s Richie Rich list is growing at an astronomical pace! As per the Hurun Rich List 2024, India is now home to 334 billionaires and their total worth is Rs 159 lakh crore — surpassing the combined GDP of Saudi Arabia and Switzerland and accounting for more than half of India’s GDP.
The Hurun Rich List 2024 also revealed that India’s financial capital, Mumbai, has emerged as the “billionaire capital of Asia” with more billionaires than China’s capital Beijing.
The report also reveals an interesting trend — India is creating wealth at a time when other nations are seeing a decline. Interestingly, China saw a 25 per cent decline in its number of billionaires, while India experienced a 29 per cent increase.
Here’s how India is becoming richer and much, much more.
India’s many Richie Riches
As per the Hurun Rich List 2024, India is now home to 334 billionaires, rising by 29 per cent from the previous year.
The report reveals that India’s billionaire count has been steadily rising — in 2014, there were 109 billionaires, which went up to 259 in 2023. The Hurun Rich List 2024 further revealed that India minted a new billionaire every five days.
Anas Rahman Junaid, founder and chief researcher, Hurun India, said: “India continues to score Gold in the ‘Wealth Creation Olympics’. The number of billionaires in 2024 Hurun India Rich List hits triple century, with all the top 20 sectors adding new faces to the list! The top 20 sectors all added new faces, showcasing the unstoppable spirit of Indian entrepreneurs as they drive growth across the board.”
From an industry overview, real estate and industrial products added the most significant number of new entrants to the list, the former contributing 142 billionaires. Additionally, 64 per cent of the new entrants this year are self-made individuals.
New, young entrants on the list
The Hurun Rich List 2024 saw the inclusion of several regulars as well as some new names.
New entrants on the list include Shah Rukh Khan as well as Zepto founders Kaivalya Vohra and Aadit Palicha. At 21, Vohra is the youngest on the list followed by his co-founder, the 22-year-old Palicha. Vohra and Palicha were students of Stanford University, when they dropped out of their computer science course and pursued entrepreneurship. Both friends started Zepto in 2021 amid the COVID pandemic, with an aim to fulfil the demand for quick and contactless delivery of essential goods.
At the age of 58, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan entered the list with a wealth of Rs 7,300 crore, powered by his stakes in IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders and film production company Red Chillies Entertainment.
Juhi Chawla, a Bollywood actor and the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, also found herself on the Hurun Rich List, boasting of Rs 4,600 crore wealth.
Founders of payment solutions app Razorpay, Harshil Mathur and Shashank Kumar, also found their way on the rich list. The two of them have an estimated net worth of Rs 8,700 crores, which is approximately $1.03 billion.
Mumbai is the place for billionaires
The Hurun Rich List also revealed that Mumbai has emerged as the “billionaire capital of Asia” with more billionaires than China’s capital Beijing. The report stated that India’s financial capital is now home to 92 billionaires compared to Beijing’s count of 91. Additionally, Mumbai added 26 new ultra-rich individuals having a total wealth of $445 billion to the club in the same time when China’s capital city lost 18.
Delhi followed Mumbai with the most billionaires to gain the second spot. Hyderabad surpassed Bengaluru for the first time to take the third position in the number of wealthy residents. Other cities in the top 10 are Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune, Surat, and Gurugram.
Factors contributing to India’s wealth creation
But, what is the reason behind India’s rich becoming wealthier? Experts note that a new generation of entrepreneurs is responsible for the explosive growth in private wealth in India. As well as the large number of entrepreneurs, India’s competitive wages and an English-speaking population is also the reason for India’s economic rise.
Domestic economic reforms are also credited for the rise in the number of wealthy people in the country. As The Guardian notes, starting slowly in the 1980s, and then more dramatically against the backdrop of a wrenching financial crisis in 1991, India dismantled the dusty stockade of rules and tariffs that made up the Licence Raj. Companies that had been cosseted under the old regime were cleared out via a mix of deregulation, foreign investment and heightened competition. In sector after sector, from airlines and banks to steel and telecoms, the ranks of India’s tycoons began to swell.
However, the high growth in India’s wealth is not proportionate. A previous World Inequality Lab report has revealed that the wealth concentrated in the richest one per cent of India’s population is at its highest in six decades and the percentage share of income exceeds that of countries including Brazil and the United States.
By the end of 2023, India’s richest citizens owned 40.1 per cent of the country’s wealth, the highest since 1961, and their share of total income was 22.6 per cent, the most since 1922, said the study.
Moreover, many of India’s rich are also leaving the country in large numbers. Australia, the US, and Canada have become the favourite new homes for rich people from around the world.

Pittsburgh prosecutors are seeking the death penalty in the case of a woman accused of killing a 6-week-old baby and injuring his twin brother in June, a new court filing shows.
Nicole Virzi, 30, a PhD student, was charged with homicide and multiple counts of aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of children. The charges stem from an incident in June when Virzi was babysitting the twin boys of a couple she knew in Pittsburgh.
According to a criminal complaint, Virzi called the police on the night of June 15, claiming that one of the twins had fallen from a bassinet. The baby, named Leon Katz, was rushed to a nearby children's hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The next evening, Virzi discovered injuries to Leon’s twin brother, including scratches, bruising and swelling. After the second baby was taken to the hospital, doctors found the injuries sustained by both twins were neither natural nor accidental.
An examination by the medical examiner's office revealed that Leon had suffered from a severe skull fracture and multiple brain bleeds, with the cause of death determined to be blunt force trauma to the head, resulting from homicide.
Virzi, who had been staying at an Airbnb property in Pittsburgh, told police that Leon was in a bouncer seat when she left the room to get him a bottle. She then heard the baby screaming and found him on the floor before she contacted police. Virzi also alleged that Leon's twin brother got a scratch to his face when she tried to put him in a car seat and he flailed his arms.
The twins' parents denied inflicting any injuries on their children.
The Allegheny County District Attorney's Office cited torture as one of the aggravating factors justifying its pursuit of the death penalty.
Virzi’s defense attorney, David Shrager, told NBC News that Virzi was close friends with the twin’s parents and maintains her innocence.
“This was not the direction we hoped the case would go,” Shrager said. “We strongly disagree with the allegations made by the DA’s office regarding the death penalty. We will of course be litigating this case aggressively until the truth comes out.”
Virzi was pursuing her doctorate at the University of California, San Diego. According to the university's website , she was studying behavioral medicine in the joint doctoral program in clinical psychology.
She is being held in the Allegheny County Jail without bond.
Pennsylvania is one of 27 states where the death penalty remains legal. Over 100 people remain on death row in the state — including just one woman — but no executions have been carried out since 1999.
When Gov. Josh Shapiro took office last year, he a nnounced that he would not issue any execution warrants during his term. He called on the General Assembly to abolish the death penalty, saying, "The Commonwealth shouldn't be in the business of putting people to death."

Annual Limit Reached in the EB-4 Category
The State Department, working in close collaboration with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, is pleased to announce the issuance of all available visas in the Employment-Based First Preference (EB-1) category for fiscal year (FY) 2024. Maximizing these visas facilitates legitimate travel for individuals with extraordinary ability that has garnered national or international acclaim, outstanding professors and researchers, and multinational executives and managers. These individuals bring contributions across many industries that greatly benefit the U.S. economy.
The Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) limits the number of employment-based preference immigrant visas that may be issued within a fiscal year. Specifically, INA 203(b)(1) provides that the annual limit for EB-1 visas is 28.6 percent of the worldwide employment limit.
Since all available EB-1 visas for FY 2024 have been used, embassies and consulates may not issue visas in these categories for the remainder of the fiscal year. The annual limits will reset with the start of the new fiscal year (FY 2025) on October 1, 2024. At that point, embassies and consulates may resume issuing immigrant visas in these categories to qualified applicants.

Entrance preview.
I didn't pass entrance exam,it was interview. For foreigners there is no any entrance exam. But the procedure of interview and the following structure is so difficult to pass out from the procedure . For indian students there is an entrance exam which you should ask from the indian student of lamia itself.
There is more than 6 months source work which according to me it was somehow beneficial but one of the subject was not related to our exact field . There should be more concentration on the course choices , and it is happening in all universities there .

“My first reaction was that of absolute horror. I could feel the anger in my bones,” says Dr. Kamna Kakkar, a resident doctor from Delhi. “Hospitals are supposed to be places which are safe and revered like temples. When I don the white coat to save lives, I expect to be provided safety.”
Her thoughts were echoed by the seven female doctors and nurses interviewed for this story — and are similar to points raised on two WhatsApp groups by over 200 medical professionals in India.
Along with protests demanding better security measures for women, these medical professionals are speaking out about the lack of respect they are afforded in their workplace. They say they’re not safe at work nor do they have safe resting places when they do shift work. They’re also calling attention to sexual harassment from peers and patients alike.
According to details made public by courts and police, the woman who was raped and murdered — she cannot be named by law — was found with extensive injuries in the seminar hall of the hospital, where she was resting at the end of a 36-hour shift late night shift. A police volunteer — a unpaid civilian recruited for minor policing duties — was detained in connection with the crime.
The brutality of this case, as well as the increasing frequency of reports of sexual crimes against women in India — from 25,000 rape cases in 2012 to 31,000 a decade later — has sparked nationwide anger and condemnation. In response, the Indian Supreme Court, last Tuesday, announced it would hear the case surrounding the woman’s murder, and ordered a national task force to investigate workplace safety for doctors.
The Supreme Court announcement came after more than a dozen protests by medical professions, and thousands of citizens across India.
One of India’s largest unions representing doctors, the Indian Medical Association, is demanding increased security protocols — “no less than an airport” — for all hospitals. In a statement, they called for deployment of more security personnel and closed-circuit TV for surveillance.
The infrastructure at most public hospitals isn’t built with regard to women’s safety, doctors told NPR. Women doctors typically don’t have specially-designated bathrooms or safe places to rest or sleep. “In one instance I know, a lady doctor was made to sleep inside the ward because no doctor's duty room was provided to her,” Dr. Kakkar said,
On August 16, following the rape and murder in Kolkata, that association, which counts over 360,000 doctors as members, announced a nationwide strike to demand safer spaces for women medical professionals. Participating doctors refused services to non-emergency patients. While exact figures weren’t collated, the Supreme Court appealed for doctors to return to work, saying that their strike had denied medical care to Indians across the country.
Gender-based violence has been a long-standing issue in India. Nearly one in three women in India has reported experiencing some form of violence, according to a national health survey conducted by the Indian Ministry of Health, sampling nearly 725,000 women across the country.
New laws in the wake of a 2012 gang rape in Delhi have instituted stricter punishments for violence against women, including longer sentences and even the death penalty in cases of rape. Yet the number of confirmed cases of rape has risen from 337,922 in 2014 to 445,256 in 2022, the most recent year for which data is available.
The enactment of more laws is not the solution says Karanjeet Kaur, a columnist for Indian daily The Print.
“ In India, the problem has never been that the laws are not friendly toward women. The problem has always been the uneven application of, those laws,” Kaur says. "There's very little that Indian women can really hope for if especially if they are from historically disempowered, communities.
This high-profile case also has brought attention to India’s low rates of employment of women. One reason is that they lack safety in their commute and in their workplaces. And yet the rape of a doctor in a hospital, was still shocking, Kaur says, even though a survey from 2015 reported that about three-quarters of doctors reported experiencing violence in their workplace.
Doctors, she says, “"are considered next to God,” while many Indians also identified with the challenges she faced in becoming a doctor, only "to have her life so callously and so brutally taken away from her."

I joined my current firm in Berlin after completing a Masters in Landscape Architecture from Hochschule Neubrandenburg , three years ago. I spoke with Leap about my journey for their expert student series— Indians who had studied abroad in recent years and gotten a job— because I want to help others wanting to take the same career jump that I made.

The following is from our interview and has been edited and condensed for clarity.
I’m originally from Kerala. I did a Bachelor of Architecture in my undergrad, and well, the job market in India really crushed me. I worked for one year as an architect, but there are a lot of issues in terms of low pay and the scarcity of good jobs.
And I thought, yeah, why don’t I do something that’s going to help me a little bit more in terms of career. I knew one of my friends was already living in Germany, I spoke with him, and that’s how I came to know that there’s no tuition fee here.
Compared to different foreign school programs, it sounded to be the best idea because there is less financing to do. And most of the applications are online and you get through, so you don’t need a lot of crazy processes to get admission.
I applied to five universities. It’s always the best thing to do when you apply in Germany, for example, or any other foreign university, it’s best to have more chances. So I made a short list of some universities based on what I liked— I was interested in landscape architecture because I did my thesis in landscape architecture— and applied.
I got into two programs, one of them was for landscape architecture.
So in terms of college in India, we need to go to class every day, for example. And that’s really not the case when you study master’s here. Like you have probably three days of class and your classes are based on your professor’s schedules.
So they publish on the website beforehand when you would class the next week. So you have a lot of free time in between and you can navigate your time in other things as well, like a part-time job for example.
And in terms of education or the teaching itself, it’s not spoon feeding. You don’t get textbooks and you need to study literally from there. In architecture especially, you just have presentations mostly. I had no written exams in my course at all. It was mostly we have each design projects each semester, and then you present it. It is pretty similar to India in that way, but you have the opportunity to mingle with a lot more people and get to know different ideas.
So the international aspect of it was really, really helpful in that way, I would say.
My flatmates took me to places and not a lot of them require entry. Like a fest happening in the market of the city, farmers market student group events, University events.
My university was in Neubrandenburg. It’s a city that’s very close to a lake. There’s a huge lake and then our university is right at the bank of the lake. Every summer, there will be a small boat race, like you take a canoe and you have different groups and you race each other.
When I shifted to Berlin, a more international city, these things changed. There are meetups, like an art class, walking, running groups, there’s lots of stuff. You can go out and party, but that stuff depends on how much you’re willing to spend.
My total expenses.
There were no educational expenses as I went to public university. My biggest expenses were rent and the food, and after a year I’d spent around 5,000 euros. In my second year I shifted to Berlin, a bigger city with higher rents, so there I spent around 7,000 euros, while making a small salary from my internship for four months, and a student job for two months.
The one people a lot go to is Amazon, like Amazon warehouses. You can stack things, pack things. That is the easiest job you can find and in two months you can make 1300-1500 euros working just 20 hours a week.
You could go to other places like the US, or the UK maybe and make more money. But a lot of other things I would say like the work-life balance, that is something that I really, really, really value in German culture.
You can leave your office when the time is done. And there is more of a balance in terms of, so if, for example, my boss asked me to work on Saturday and I would say, no, it’s not possible. Like I have other plans and that goes. And that’s not the case in India.
I’m happy here.I work a proper nine-to-five job, but after that, I’m free. And I make way more than I would in India.

There are two most important things. First, make good connections in the University itself. My professors recommended me for my internship. So I didn’t have to go through the crazy task of sending 100 applications and waiting for it. And when you apply for a job here in Germany, you need to send a lot of applications. And it’s quite different from India, as each company has a different format. You combine your CV, portfolio and Cover letter sent specifically to different companies with addressing their own format.
Sometimes you need to wait three or four weeks for an answer, which is quite normal. Waiting is the norm, don’t get frustrated. And it’s also normal to send like 100 applications. Don’t fret.
Second most important thing for any student is to learn the language. You can survive with English, but there is a limit for how high you can rise. And after that, the companies prefer somebody who speaks German.
Especially in a service industry like architecture, you need to go to the construction site. You need to talk to people. You need to tell the workers what to do and they don’t know english.
If you’re someone who stresses out too much over things like language, which kinda extends to loneliness, then don’t do it. And if you are coming here, don’t compare your journey with others. Some people would learn the language quickly, some won’t. It takes time, but in the end it should work out.
Take it easy.
